A few hours ago we detected attacker bots exploiting an economic edge in the bootstrap window of WorldMiner the TWAP oracle hadn't accumulated enough observations yet, which left the genesis price pinned to its starting floor and made early continent mining temporarily over‑profitable. Team noticed this and responded in minutes. We have paused mining accrual on every continent to effectively zero. The vulnerability has been patched and the fix is live on-chain. What this means: - The LAND token was never compromised. No exploit on the token contract, no unauthorized mint, no upgrade needed. - LAND in your wallet is unaffected. Balances, transfers, and approvals all unchanged. - Protocol keys are uncompromised. We retain full owner control of the protocol. - The exploit was economic, not technical, and it is now neutralized. We are working to deploy a new and fully safe mining algorithm within the next 48 hours. We are also using this window to study and ship more exciting mechanics that make the protocol better to play and more rewarding to be part of.
